Working Together for Advice Project - User & Stakeholder Involvement Workstream
ADP has been commissioned by Age Concern England to deliver an evaluation of the User and Stakeholder Involvement Workstream of the Working Together for Advice Project.Working Together for Advice is a multiple wokstream project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund, which will provide a range of services to independent advice centres in England. Advice Services Alliance (ASA) is leading the project on behalf of a consortium of advice networks: Age Concern England, Advice UK, Citizens Advice, Law Centres Federation and Youth Access.
The User and Stakeholder Involvement workstream involves all members of the consortium and is being co-ordinated by Age Concern England. It aims to increase user and stakeholder involvement in the management and development of advice services.
ADP is working on an ongoing evaluation of the progress of the workstream in achieving its key aims and outcomes and its success in meeting quarterly milestones. An initial element of the work has seen the design, development and analysis of surveys to gather information on what advice staff and service users consider to be the motivations and barriers to stakeholder involvement in advice services. The findings of this work will provide bench line information to fed into the development of a user and stakeholder involvement toolkit.
