Leicester SHARP
Leicester SHARP, an independent housing advice centre based in Leicester, contracted ADP to investigate the relative value and benefits of independent housing advice. ADP conducted research and carried out consultation with key stakeholders to establish the value of independent advice as perceived by funders, service delivery agencies and users of housing advice and homelessness services. The report provided a definition of independent advice and including recommendations on joint working between voluntary and statutory advice providers, the need for the advice sector to promote the achievements of independent advice to relevant parties and the added value of independent advice.
