Refugee Council
The Refugee Council is the largest organisation in the UK working with asylum seekers and refugees. ADP worked with the Refugee Council on the development of the guidelines for QASRO, a quality system for advice standards to be used by refugee organisations. ADP revised service guidelines relating to housing, information and advice services, training, employment and education and interpreting services and drafted a new guideline for community development. A consultation process with refugee organisations was carried out to check and test the guidelines and training courses delivered in Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle and Manchester.
